Why I made these forums
Sometimes writing with other people can be very challenging and stimulating. It gives you a chance to explore new ideas, things you wouldn't have thought of yourself. Also, if you tend to get bored in the middle of what you are writing (*raises hand and says "That's me!"*), writing with someone else can give you that extra incentive to keep going--plus will usually keep you from getting bored because the other person has ideas you didn't think of.
I set this place up because forums I have gone to don't really have much opportunity to do this sort of thing outside of the usual role plays. And sometimes you just want something a little more involved than a role play.
Also... it is good to get feedback on your writing as you are going along. Sometimes you need constructive criticizm or a nudge in the right direction--other times you just need to hear that you are on the right track. This place is meant to be a place you can get that also.
But really... I was just being selfish when I set this up. I love to write and was hoping to find some people to write with. Doesn't mean that I will poke my nose into every thread that is started here... although it will be very hard NOT to! But I am really hoping to get some good challenging writing going.

Yeah... that's most of it! I'm not likely to delete anything unless it is so unbelievably pornographic that it makes ME blush.
Don't think this place has a spell checker! (I am so incredibly ignorant though... ) But just about everyone I have ever written with can't spell for ****... so... No biggie.
