new and nervous....
Hi everybody,
I'm Charlotte from the UK and I'm really new to this, but I've been reading the board for a couple of weeks so I thought I'd join up and make my first few tentative posts.
I'm 18 and I've never been properly topless in public before, but it's something I've been thinking about for a while now, which is why I'm here. I can't explain it, I'm usually quite shy but it just feels like something I want to do. None of my girlfriends have shown much interest so it's difficult and embarrassing to try and experiment on my own. I've tried twice so far, but each time my top came off, I lost my nerve almost immediately. The first time topless thread is interesting to read as it seems most other people had similar problems at the start.
So anyway here I am, I don't know how much I'm going to post but hopefully I'll be able to fit in here and increase my confidence.

Best of luck Charlotte, just keep at it and don't give up, try going topless at home as much as possible first, get comfortable alone, then invite someone over and open the door for them topless????

Hello Charlotte and welcome. It is easy for me to say to you not to be nervous. I was about your age when I discovered what a rush it is to be topless (or nude) around guys. I lost at strip poker (I cheated) and found myself nude in a room with 9 guys from my school. It was a defining moment that changed my life (for the better I might add).
I wonder if you would like to talk about what makes you want to be topless? Is it about sexuality for you or is it (maybe) just about freedom and sensuality? Is it a craving for the rush?

Marie, I find it hard to pinpoint exactly why I want to go topless. I think it's probably based in sexuality- thinking about taking off my top in public turns me on a little. But I can't say for sure as I can't quite get to grips with the feelings involved. I'm not very sexually experienced and only one guy has ever seen my boobs- maybe I have a yearning to explore the sexual part of my brain a little more and topfreedom seems appealing.
I can't go topless at home as I live with my parents and brother. But I will try to find ways to boost my confidence.

Charlotte,
You have plenty of time to explore your sexuality. If you are inclined to experiment exposing your nipples selectively is a great start. It's easy to get started. I would suggest first going braless just wearing your usual clothes. See how it feels to be around guys. Do they notice? If so how does it make you feel? if you find it arousing, then you might try a simple button down shirt unbuttoned or tied at the waist. Or maybe a more sheer top braless. Please let us know how it goes for you!

Hi, Charlotte...welcome! I think you're right on target in wondering what more freedom feels like...not just topfreedom, but all kinds of freedom. For me as a woman though, being openly topfree was a big jump...and one of the best!
Good advice from Marie...experiment in small ways. I started by wearing different fabrics and styles of blouses without a bra. Then unbuttoning one-by-one to potentially show more of my boobs...eventually a full view. I remember practicing with various blouses in my room in front of a mirror. I'd see how much others could see and what angle would give them a view. For me, knowing how much others would see gave me a little more control of the situation.

Thanks for your help, I've come up with a plan for today and I'm very excited!
It's Friday morning in the UK and tonight my school are throwing a huge party to celebrate the end of our A-Level exams. We officially leave school today
So I'm thinking about what to wear for the party and I'm thinking I might go a little... underdressed! Nobody would ever expect it from me and I'm hoping to turn a few heads. Nothing too OTT as it's still a school party at the end of the day, but enough to get myself some attention
