The ban currently is in only one rural canton, but the article indicates that it threatens to spread. As I reported in another post, my wife and I recently spent three weeks on Maui in Hawaii. Where we stayed there was a group of Swiss people, who showed a degree of body freedom that would be unlikely among non-nudist Americans. They would sometimes be nude in semi-public places, openly change into bathing suits on public beaches (as seems to be tne German practice), etc.
