there is a big difference between being swingers and swapping with close friends. having sex with strangers is obvisouly very risky. swapping with friends who you know do not have any diseases is a great way to include other people in your sex life. linda and carly seem to have a good thing going. as long as their friends stick to that one simple rule, no one needs to worry. you're both very lucky to have good friends like them.

Indeed! Far more risky with friends! Of course I am not talking about the risk of catching disease which you can control with proper protection, but rather about the risk of losing your friends and/or your partner.

Great topic!
Robert and I do not think of ourselves as “swingers” or as “being in the lifestyle”. Indeed, these terms are rather repulsive to us. We are sexually driven and unorthodox but very much a solitary couple I fear. Robert is primarily a voyeur and does not pursue sex with other women. His biggest gratification is watching me exposed and being enjoyed by other men however I choose. I crave sex with as many partners as possible. I guess we are blessed.

i am a swinger---only with people i know..co-wokers and freinds...and neighbors...i would not go out and get strangers....
carly--i do like your idea--setting ground rules...but , you should include the men...you should not assume that they want to swap partners....communication between all parties is very important....good luck!!

Certainly I'm not in that life style and I have no experience at all in this area. But I do have experience with people.
Talking with your respective fiancee's as soon as possible about your plans is not only smart, it's courteous. If they then "can't wait", well that just builds up the tension, doesn't it.
