Yes. There might be a risk that your guys are keen to have sex with the others' partner, but haven't thought through how they feel about the other guy having sex with their partner. Guys can be quite possessive.
And they can be quite competitive. Any risk that they might be concerned that partner A reaches places that partner B can't reach etc?

Liz, believe me, they want to. We're concerned that if we tell them too soon, they won't want to wait and will push us to go ahead and do it.
I don't have experience with swapping but I might ponder doing one thing a little differently. If you know that the guys really want to do it, then instead of telling them on the plane - maybe "bargain" with them on the plane? For example... tell them that if they want to do it, you ladies can agree, but THE GUYS have to initiate it with oral.

i think carly had the right idea with the girls starting it. i would feel uncomfortable making the first move on my buddy's girlfriend with him right there watching. it's hard to explain, but i think anyone who has experience with swapping with friends for the first time would agree with me.

My experience -- guys encouraging it. Girls talked and made the first move. A guy backed down -- actually one guy did. Nothing ended up happening -- friendship no longer there.

We decided to wait until we get to the resort then tell the guys that anything goes as long as its just among the four of us. That should be a good conversation starter. We figure that the first question from one of the guys will be "What do you mean?" and our answer will be "Whatever you want it to mean" then let nature take its course.

My wife and I are going to south beach 8-17-8-20-09,we usually only do soft swapping,but always open to fun and being in the moment.My wife loves to show off and cut loose on vacation especially after some margaritas.If another couple has any ideas or will be in the area and would like to meet for drinks that would be great.
