catching a p-e-a-c-o-c-k...

Just a little story from the days after my return from Eivissa at the beginning of this month.

I enjoyed a little bit the sun on our terrace at the backyard of our house after one of my first workdays. I was covered only by my WW 457 bottom because hubby wants to see me in itemoticon - and as you know I´ve no use for tops. Suddenly we heard a noise in the bushes nearby. We heard then a really strange sound - and then a p-e-a-c-o-c-k ran onto our lawn. Because hubby and I were just watching my holiday-pics I had my camera at hand. So I took quick a pic from the - here in Germany - seldom bird while hubby shouted to me: "Nicci, come on, he must have escaped from the aviary of our neighbor!" We both jumped down from our terrace, tried to surround the bird and then to catch him. Fortunately it was a male p-e-a-c-o-c-k so he was not so nimble with his long tail. But nevertheless the hunting was really a little bit difficult because hubby started to laugh when he saw my bouncing nude boobs and was therefore not a great helpemoticon. And it was also a little bit dangerous for me because the bird has a strong beak and sharp claws and a WW 457 is not much protection against them. I got some not so nice scratches on my legs, on my boobs and on my stomach - but I´m good at martial arts and love it sometimes to fight. If he would have resisted more I would have made pancakes out of himemoticon. No need for using my pistols.

Hubby took then the bird back to our neighbor. He´s still uneaten (I mean the birdemoticon ).

Love,
your nudie
Nicci

Well Nicci, there is a possibility for a new thread. "Topfree target shooting". My wife has shot her pistols topfree at the local target range. Lots of fun. She has never had a complaint either! Must be her shooting skill.

Topfree shooting at a range??

As a competition shooter,I'd consider that a major distraction and wouldn't want to be on the same line! Next relay for me,please.....

@Rovin

Topless at the local shooting place???emoticon Now, in this issue the U.S. are maybe the topless-avantgarde. Here in Germany I need my uniform or - for official competitions - my special shooting clothes. Otherwise the shooting-leader would not let me onto the shooting range. The law and the rules about shooting are very strict in Germany.emoticon

Liebe Nicci,
Just the thought of having you on the same line as myself would be an awful distraction. emoticon Especially if you were shooting left handed and I'm shooting right handed!

Germany doesn't have our National Rifle Association, which is very powerful politically and advocates such strange things as laws allowing anyone who wants to to carry a gun in church. I haven't heard that they have taken a position on topfree shooting, but I am sure they would be for it.

I'm not sure if topless shooting wouldn't cause a schism in the NRA. A lot of members are also very conservative right wing Christian fundamentalists.

@meredith

It´s of course correct that there´s nothing like the National Rifle Association in Germany. But in the opposite there´s something in Germany which is unknown in the U.S.: the Shooters Associations with the "Deutscher Schützenbund"/ DSB (= "German Shooters Federation") as the national roof organization.

The history and the traditions of the Shooters Associations are going back into the 19th century when Germany was nothing more than a conglomeration of authoritarian ruled independent monarchies, each of them running an own army and an own foreign policy. The Shooters Associations were an important political force for German unity and citizen-liberty. Their original idea was to form a democratic and national German army. They´ve still a very military outlook with uniforms and military ranks and flags and marching and other things typically for a "real" army.

But times are changing and today they´ve unfortunately more the image of a right-wing-pressure-group, too, ready for campaigning for the conservative parties CDU (= Christian Democratic Union; the party has not much to do with christianity, the name is a simple logo) and CSU at every election campaign.

During the last months, when the election campaign for our German national elections at last sunday was ongoing, you could see the CDU-politicians at every shooters festival across the landscape - drinking our beer and eating our cakes.emoticon The DSB has much more than a million members - only the trade unions and the national automobile club ADAC have more (and the both big churches of course).

In many rural areas like my "home-state" Niedersachsen ("Lower saxony" = one of the 16 "Länder" = states forming the Federal Republic of Germany) nearly every small village has its own shooters association. So it was normalcy for me to learn shooting when I was a teenage-girl. Yes, and also, to drink too much alcool and be drunkenemoticon

But I´ve still not drunken enough to vote for the CDU.emoticon

The German weapon law is really very complicated. It would need too much place and time to explain it. Only so much: You must be a member of a shooters association to have the license for sport shooting (there´re next to the DSB only two others in Germany - one a veterans organization and the other, tiny one formed around police sport shooters). You must be a member of a hunting organization to use hunting weapons. And you must have a university degree in historical weapon research to own historical weapons. So you MUST become a member of a shooting association if you want to shoot. And I love to shoot.

Dear meredith, hopefully this answer was not too long and too boring...emoticon

Love,
yours Nicci

P.S.: When there would exist more wrestlers-clubs and more of them would accept women, then I probably would become a member. I used to do sometimes even judo and karate. In summary: I fear I´ve next to swimming an affinity to sports where I can be agressive and violent - in short: where I can be a little bit like a male...emoticon

Good girl!!!!!!!!!!

By the way - the "Schützengilde Harburg" is in consecutive existence since well over 800 years and therefore one of the eldest if not the oldest "Shooter Association" in Northern Germany.
Harburg was made a subborb of Hamburg in 1937. The people´s consent thereto was never asked for and the elder ones still do not go into the city but refer to the center of town as going to Hamburg.
