Re: Home Depot

Digging into the archives, I found this thread. I often go shopping at Home Depot while I'm still working on a project, so I don't stop to change out of my work clothes. Since I generally wear very loose-fitting tops for projects and never wear a bra while at home, my boobs are frequently very visible.

My favorite tops are actually borrowed from my hubby...absolute favorite is a Gold's Gym y-back string tank top. Yesterday I went in this top to get some more bags of potting soil and several large ceramic pots...didn't have any problem getting someone to help me lift these heavy items onto my cart and even had help in the parking lot getting it loaded into my pickup. People are just sooo nice!

Good for you, Hallie! You're right...when you're in the middle of a project and need more supplies, the last thing I want to do is get cleaned up so I could change into non-work clothes.

Had to laugh when I saw that you really like your hubby's string tank top. Since I do many of my gardening projects in just a g-string or sometimes nude, I just grab one of my roommates' workout tanks too when I want to make a quick Home Depot run. Our Home Depot has an entrance and checkout in the garden area, so I don't have to actually go into the main store. The garden staff know me pretty well now. Like you, I always get primo service!

Well I guess that some do it just to get help (I can't blame you there. I can never find help in HD) and others are just wearing what they always wear. So now how do I find my next home next to people comfortable in their own skin like I am. emoticon

Went to Home Depot and a couple of nurseries yesterday to buy more flowers for a new section of my garden...wearing a kind of lacy gauze top...pretty see-through even when totally dry. Because I'm quite small, I know my whole chest is visible when I bend over...which I did every once in a while making my purchases. While I was covered, I really felt almost topfree...and I loved it. It was a fun shopping trip!

Hey, Gracie...good for you in expanding your garden. Your top sound very similar to one I wear often...mine doesn't have lace, but it's a nice sheer gauze.

I was wearing it while doing some shopping at Home Depot last week and got caught in a thundershower as I walked into the store...got totally soaked, so I entered through the garden entrance. Went behind a row of trees and took my top off to wringe it out. An older couple came around the corner while I was still shaking out my top. He looked at me and got pretty nervous until his wife said Hi to me with a smile and added, "Wasn't that some shower!?" I agreed and we talked briefly as she led her hubby along the aisle right past me. I thought it was cute that she was giving him plenty of time to take a look, recognizing that I wasn't nervous about it at all.

Darn--no t-showers in our forecast for a while! Next time some showers are expected, I think I'll plan to be out on some errands too! I've got some tops that disappear quickly when you add a little water. Thanks for the idea!

Re: Home Depot

Went to Home Depot again today in my see-through gauze top. Had a long list so it took a while to make all my purchases. One couple seemed to need items in the same departments I visited...by the time we saw each other in the same aisle for the third time, she smiled and mentioned that we were probably doing the same projects...but her hubby was paying complete attention to his shopping, trying real hard to not look at my chest. I whispered to her that it was okay with me if her husband looked at me, if it was okay with her. She called him over and introduced herself and her hubby to me...and said to her guy, "Gracie and I agree that you can relax and look at her as much as you want...but no touching!" We all laughed and he took a quick but thorough look. We went about our business, but ended up seeing each other several more times, each time he seemed to be more comfortable. I love little encounters like this.

Great story, Gracie! I've met some really nice people in my see-throughs or gapping tops too. (and of course some not so nice people...oh, well) In my experience, the woman in a couple is the one who ultimately decides how the encounter will go. Now, when a man's there by himself though, he'll buy all kinds of stuff to spend more time where I'm shopping.

Re: Home Depot

Funny that this thread would come back to life,

We were finishing a weekend landscaping project last weekend. It was a warm very nice day so I was working in the yard in a sleeveless extremely (to the waist) large arm hole shirt and realized that I need a couple things to finish up.
I asked hubby to take me to home depot for them and didn't think a thing about what I was wearing, we just went and hubby didn;t mention it either since we had been there with me wearing less than this before.
We went in the gardening section and picked up a few things and I realized there was a guy a that came around a couple times, then I looked at him then me then hubby and it all came to me what he was looking at and it wasn't sprinklers.
Whenever I lifted an arm, there was a very clear view and if it was at an angle there was a clear nipple popping out as the top moved from side to side with that movement.
I noticed him going back to a different row a couple times so I went and watched him. He was going back to check on his wife or girlfriend, what ever.
I decided to make a trip down that isle looking at a few things and as I got where they were I lifted my arm and twisted just enough to give both of them a great view. She nugged him in the ribs and I went on my way without a word.
I wish I could have heard their conversation a few minutes later. I didn't see him following me around any more.
 It was a fun afternoon.
