Most of the suits that I have are sheer and I have worn them to most public textile beaches. But we always try to seek a vacation spot where I can at least be topfree.

These days it is very easy to get hold of sheer bikinis and microkinis. We have been fans of Wicked Weasel micrikinis for years and this season they are producing nearly twenty styles in a variety of materials so suit all tastes.
There is someting about the tiniest micro that titilates and stimulates both the wearer and those that are fortunate enough to witness them. We have particular fun when coming out of the ocean to reveal the 'shear when wet' look to an appreciative beach public!
which other manufacurers do you guys and girls wear?

I used to have a pink one-piece that was very sheer at the top when wet, but not at the bottom and I wore it to public beaches and even to friend's pools if I wasn't sure that topfree would be appropriate. I eventually realized though that I was actually more comfortable, mentally and physically, topless and now I always go topless at public beaches. At private pools, when I get there I take off my shorts and go in the pool. When I get out, the top is sheer and once everyone has noticed, I just shrug and take it off. Nobody has ever objected. At a hotel pool I sometimes keep the tank top on even when wet. Again, no one has ever objected.

Finding sheer suits for guys can sometimes be a challenge, but I find bikini-type underwear works really well. I used to have a very thin beige pair that was totally transparent when wet. It wasn't a thong, and not even a small bikini, but sometimes a larger suit can be more exciting because, somehow, when its transparent it seems to show more. Maybe its because the wet vs. dry contrast is so great. Of course the elastic wore out pretty fast as it wasn't designed to stand up to chlorine and salt, but underwear is so cheap that who cares.

I have a few completely see thru open fishnet g-string that I have worn at public beaches and hotel pools, which have gotten a few stares a few smiles and a lot of comments. The last time was in Virginia when I was on a business trip I went to the hotel pool around 10pm and the girl who worked the front desk can around to the pool to tell me that it was closing and I got out of the water. As I was walking to my towel which was behind where she was standing her mouth about hit the floor, but she said nothing. Thee next evening when I got back from my conference and walked past the front desk the same girl was there along with a another girl, and she made it perfectly clear the pool was open. So I went up to my roomm and put my g-string on with a t-shirt as a cover up and went down to the pool for a swim. When I got to the pool I took off my shirt and swam for a bit and when I came out to get some sun the girl front the night before was walking around the pool area and she smiled and said "I love you bikini and I wish more men would have the self confidence to were swimwear that actually was flattering" I said thank you and within a few minutes her co-worker was in the pool area with her and she said "doesn;t he have to put a suit on because I can see his penis" the first girl then said what are you talking about he has a swimsuit on and he is a guest and can wear any swimwear he wants to this pool as long as I work here.

Yes, motel pools can be fun. Frequently they are staffed by part-time young women who could care less. Often motels have some sort of camera that lets the desk clerk monitor the pool, so even when they don't come by, I have had clerks comment on my attire (or lack thereof). Frequently I will call to ask if it is ok to wear a thong. This is always a good precaution, but it also tips off the clerk (and any of her friends there), so you are almost guaranteed an appreciative audience.

I once stayed in New Orleans at a very nice hotel. I stopped by the concierge and asked if there was a place I could go skinny dipping. They weren't aware of any, so i asked if I could use the hotel pool. They said sure, and allowed me to enter after hours, and skinny dip. It turned out, the rooftop pool wasn't just a pool, it had dressing rooms, a gym, sauna, hot tub, etc. I lingered for an hour, and used the whole facility naked. The great part, was that the pool was open to the sky and clearly in view of other buildings and a parking garage. I got to watch people walking to their cars across the street while I was using a stair master, naked--and they got to watch me.
