Thonging at City Parks – Any Experiences?
This has been a cold spring and early summer so far in the SF Bay Area. There have only been a few days warm enough to make it worthwhile to venture out to a beach for some sun. Inland temps have been somewhat warmer, with less fog and wind than at the coast.
I have been looking for more dependable places to thong that are warmer and sunnier than is often the case at the beach around here. I used to be able to thong at Alameda Beach on the west side of the San Francisco Bay. After going here for a few years, a mounted EBMUD park ranger rode up for a chat one day, and let me know that it was a $275 fine if I became a “thonging repeat offender” at EBMUD parks - OUCH  . That kind of ruined the attraction of that beach.
Over the winter I saw some blogs and forums that seemed to suggest that some city parks in SF might be viable places to thong. Importantly, they would be warmer, sunnier and less than windy than the coast most of the time.
I drove by Mission Dolores Park in SF once on a sunny day in the early spring and saw a couple of thongers. Next time I went and wore a string bikini without any issues. Wore a thong the next time, and have been wearing just a g since.
Thonging in a city park is very different than at the beach. Some people are there to sun bathe, and some just to enjoy the day outdoors. Last week I was able to get out for a weekday afternoon and also on Saturday (I want to go to Venice Beach in SoCal next week for 4 or 5 days and am trying to get a base tan so I won’t burn). The weekday had mostly other sun bathers out. The weekend started out with mostly other sun bathers, and as the afternoon progressed some of the sun bathers left and many others came just to sit in thepark, enjoy the day and listen to a DJ who had set up at one end of the park. By the time I left about 5:00 there were only a few people remaining in swim suits and the crowd was almost elbow to elbow. It was a little strange at the end, having only a brief suit on in the middle of a mostly clothed crowd, but no one minded, or seemed to pay much attention. All-in-all, a very enjoyable way to spend the day.
Anyone else thong in city parks, or have some experiences to share about park thonging?

One of which is an offer from a couple for others to come and thong at their private heated pool.
