You might find this funny, but I got my first thong as a dance belt when I took a dance class in grad school. That sure was a surprise when I put it on. I'd say it got me hooked, and I wear thongs to the beach when I can, thong underwear about half the time.
This year I was finally "outed" by my kids. We were doing a few yoga positions - my 10 yr old daughter said "dad, your thong is showing"... pretty funny.

I'm not really a fan of wearing thongs. I think they look good, especially if you've got a nice butt, but for the most part, it just feels like I've got a wedgie if I wear one.
I've got a couple g-strings, which I like a bit better. There's less material, so it's not as annoying.
If I'm really concerned about visible panty lines or just want to feel sexy, I'd rather just go commando.

cammando is always good!!! sometimes i wear a thong, undeneath something very shear..and make sure they are very colerful..

Gotta agree with Jenny on this one. I'm not much of a thong wearer...the string between my butt cheeks is just too uncomfortable. I usually stick to g-strings, because the string is much thinner and really can't be felt.
I've been going commando much more lately, which really feels and looks the best...at least in my opinion.

Good for you Steph. I was given a choice my 1st day in the military --- "boxers or nuthin'"; the choice was made and I never went back.
This likely gave me my eventual dislike for pants in general. If covering is required, I'd prefer a kilt.
