Re: Implants

While size may be a matter of personal preference, the choice of a qualified doctor is paramount.

Be sure to use only "plastic surgeons". They are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

STAY AWAY from "cosmetic surgeons", who are usually regular ear-nose-throat doctors who took a quick course in cosmetic surgery for the money behind this. We speak from experience; the first time she had implants was from a "cosmetic surgeon" and was disastrous. We then went to a plastic surgeon that her sister (an RN) recommended....that was 12 years ago and we're still thrilled with the results.

That Jan Adams who did surgery on some rapper's mother...and who died the next day, was one of those "cosmetic surgeons".

Re: Implants

My wifes neice had implants October last year with fantastic results. She was a beautiful girl to start with but always wanted more fullness.

Her surgeon made the incision at the edge of her aureola and used saline. She had no pain, tenderness, bruising, or any type of complications.

She loves them and has shown everyone emoticon including my wife and I. She is full of life and self confidence now. If you want it, go for it.

Re: Implants

Well, I did it!

On December 31 I got my implants and this morning I got my first full look at them. A bit of swelling and bruising, but otherwise I couldn't be happier with them. I selected a C (I was a A before)and that was definitely the right decision. I didn't want to look top heavy, just 'normal'. Pain was not nearly as much as I expected, except maybe for the second day.

In about a month I'll post a new photo.

I'm also thinking about have a 'coming out' party in about eight weeks. A friend of mine did, and it was great fun! So many people ask questions, it's just easier to show the results to everyone at once. All of my friends, male and female, know that I go topless, and some have seen me, so I'm not at all embarrassed to show them. I'm not sure about letting everyone feel them, so I'll play that by ear. What do you think about that? Is it too sexual? I know people are curious to know what they feel like, especially the guys.

After so many years of not having breasts, I'm so excited about hitting the beach this Spring!

Congrats Carly! I'm glad to hear that everything went well and you are so happy with the results.

As for the "Coming Out" party, I think that is a cute idea. As for the touching, I'd suggest you address that issue before the grand opening, so to speak. In other words, set the ground rules: "look all you want, but no touching" or "if you'd like to touch, it's ok, but keep it to just 2 fingers". What ever you think is appropriate, but I wouldn't let it deteriorate into a grab fest because it might make others besides you uncomfortable. (Like the girl friends whose bf was there, etc.)

We'll all be anxious to see your new photo post.

Hi Carly
Glad that you're pleased with the results.
The "coming out" party is a great idea, a friend of mine did a similar thing when she had her nipples pierced because everyone wanted to see what her nipples looked and felt like, especially the guys.
I think letting the guys touch is fine if it's something you're comfortable with, obviously it will be sexual for the guys at least, but i think if you encourage them to do it when they arrive and before the drinks start flowing it won't be a problem.
Obviously you will be topfree but what will you wear otherwise?

Happy to know you're happy! That's the most important thing. Glad also to hear that your pain wasn't as much as you'd expected. I'll share the news tonight with the others in our topfree neighborhood who monitor and participate here. We're celebrating with you.

Smiling at your good news in just a pair of black tights.

Congratulations Carly, I am glad your happy with the results. As for the coming out party, great idea. If all of your friends and family have seen you before they will love to see the difference. When my wife had hers she showed them to close friends and relatives too. And she let some feel them also. I have to disagree with Dale, that letting men(friends or relatives)feel them will be sexual, it will be more curiosity. Also they will feel different and more natural the longer you have them as your body adjusts. Enjoy your new figure!

Carly

I too want to extend my congratulations and happiness for your satisfaction.

Could you tell us a little more about the type of implants you got. Earlier in the post there was considerable discussion about the pros and cons of different type of implants.

As for touching, I would never ask another woman if I may touch, but if given the opportunity I would certainly do so. I have no experience in touching implanted breasts, so I am a bit curious. As for my husband, I don't know how I feel about him touching another woman's breasts for the sake of the same curiosity that I have. Ultimately I suppose I would not mind -- I think I have a hang up in this regard...I am going to have to think on this. Now if it was me who had the implants ( I too am an "a" size) I would not mind men friends touching me. There is a difference between curious touches and fondling. The latter is not acceptable for me.

Re: Implants

I had endoscopic surgery where the incisions are in my armpits. The implants are between the muscle and gland. So there are no visible scars.

As for the touching issue at my party, my fiance liked the two-finger method that one of you suggested. He doesn't really want his buddies giving me a 'massage'. I may let a couple of the guys feel me up a bit more, maybe in private, because their wives are thinking about the surgery and they want to know what they will feel like.
