Summer ' 09 Vacations
As my own summer vacation approaches, I was just wondering what others are up to.
What are your vacation plans?
Beaches, mountains, backyard, topfree time or not. Let's share our plans. Why did you choose that location. Have you been there before? What local attractions are there? etc...
In my own case, DW & I and the kids will be heading down to Sunset Beach, NC. We have been there before. Mostly for relaxing family beach time. When we want other activities, Myrtle Beach is only 30 minutes to the south. The water is warm. The wave action is entertaining without being dangerous. Nice beach for long walks. No need to the stingray shuffle. Lodging is affordable. Bring a good book and relax.

Paul,
Please check your inbox for info that you may or may not know about Sunset Beach. Last month my wife & I went for a weekend to relax and to scope out property. If I win the lottery, Sunset is where I'd get a beach house. It is a whole lot closer than Ocracoke, which is my favorite beach so far.

Anyway, I'll do an abbreviated public reply.
Yes. I am well aware that Bird Island is attached to Sunset Beach. Since the inlet between them was filled with sand years ago, it has become very difficult to enjoy the privacy of Bird Island. The beach walker traffic from Sunset Beach as well as the motorized beach patrol make extra skin exposure a challenge.
As far as the lottery is concerned, I'd also love to own a place down there.

Funny you should mention the lottery, Lester, since that's the only way I'll be able to afford a vacation that doesn't involve watching the Travel Channel.

I´ll start the coming August a two and a half-week-travel to Eivissa. Hopefully there´s much sun - and therefore only the need for thong bottoms and g-strings.

My wife and I will be in Key West and Miami for ten days starting this Monday(Aug.3), we'll be hitting Smathers and Fort Zack beaches in the Keys, with frequent trips to Haulover and South Beach while in Miami...in our g-strings or nude when we can get away with it.
