What particularly impressed me with our Yap champion was being top free in a public park (notice the mini-truck in the back ground) and of course the community expectation that their tradition not be forgotten and spoiled by western prudes (elders and other in church watching the rehearsals).
I think of Gauguin's paintings, and wish for the days of respectful artists painting culture uncorrupted by the West.
