FRAM FILTERS SUCK !!!!!!!!
I know fram had issues with their HP filters a few years back, they were actually imploding and restricting oil flow.
Well, it looks like all of their filters are junk.
My neighbor put a fresh motor in his 65 Chevy II and after about 10 miles it lost oil pressure. He changed the oil pump, oil filter and oil and all was good. He was using a PH30 Fram filter.
Last weekend Tuffguy2 changed his oil and used a Fram PH30 filter, and after driving it 1 mile he lost oil pressure.
Pulled the motor only to find it was the FILTER not the pump or due to engine damage.
FRAM SUCKS !!!!!!

Re: FRAM FILTERS SUCK !!!!!!!!
Here's something to consider:
Use a System 1 oil filter and you will have NO problems, but if you really must use a throw away filter, here's what I found:
K&N oil filters seem to have the highest burst pressure, and is a quality filter
Moroso oil filters come in second
Wix Racing oil filters (Napa Auto Parts) are high quality
honorable mention goes to Napa Gold (made by Wix) but dosent provide burst specs)
I also heard that AC Delco came out w/ a racing filter but dont have any info on them
