Official Texas 1973 release?
Has the recording of the Arlington show from October 6th 1973 been released official under the name "Far Beyond A Distant Sun" or is this CD also a bootleg?
Thanks,
Gerhard

Re: Official Texas 1973 release?
That´s a sticky topic Gerhard.
AFAIK the only semi-official version of the Arlington 73 recording, has been released by the Rhino-Caldwell association and was sold through their website, before it went down the tubes into oblivion. I never heard the version they had put out myself, though several people said, that it wasn´t really adequately produced or remastered and therefore no real soundimprovement on the original recording, that was done on a portable sony.

Re: Official Texas 1973 release?
Hello I am new to this board. I know this was posted a few years ago, but I recently got a cd of the '73 show talked about above. It is called Far Beyond A Distant Sun. Just wondering if anyone new how to tell if its legit or a bootleg. The seller claimed to get a bunch from the bands management that was mispresses or something like that. In fact I saw more for sale on e-bay from the same seller. I only paid like $15 for this disc. If its a boot its sweet and well worth the $15 I paid.
