New Rules etc...
How did you all get on with....
Over Rates (We were told we were up with the rates at drinks!)
Paperwork (Its amazing what we have to do now compared even to 5 years ago)
Getting the result emailed/texted (Online or texting didnt work, so we phoned tracey!)

Sure thye've had over rates in PS before???? Surely??? If not welcome to the 21st century!!
What next? Middle stumps and over arm bowling? Covered pitches? Boundary ropes instead of flags? Bowlers without pipes?

The fines for not posting the result by 9pm are a bit harsh, especially for us division 5 sides.
can understand it if results have to go in the paper, but FFS are you telling me someone is spending all saturday night preparing results for the Evening Post?

Do you use the mobile phone method or t'internet? We seem to find that doing it on someones phone in the changing rooms after the game just is so much easier

internet generally, but consequently means it happens after 9pm. I could have sworn that at a meeting earlier in the year the committee said it was Prem sides that had to have it in by then so the scores could get in mondays paper and that there would be leeway for lower league sides. As it stands, my fines must be funding a bloody good piss up somewhere!

I enter our results using the internet on my phone, do you have an internet enabled phone CodSkip? This would allow you to enter the result as soon as you finish your game

I do Johnny and I would use it had it not been put through the washing machine!!!! :/
However, the past few weeks I've been playing seconds. It's a bit hard to get back from Netherfield, get the book off the stand in skip, then post the result all by 8pm or even 9pm.
I just think its a bit overzealous. Are the league anticipating another loss making presentation evening so they need to bump up the fines revenues????

It can be difficult when you are not involved in the side, but I put our first team results in too, I just get the captain to text me the results and performances. I think the PS should allow teams to ring the result in aswell as enter it over the internet, or give a longer deadline for when it can be entered
