The idea is the results secretary checks the results. Second to that, the away team should also raise it if they disagree.
Unfortunately, neither of these two things are happening.
The league tables have always had mistakes... remember when Fylde 2's didn't go up because someone calculated the points wrong?
At least now, we have a historical log of all the results so they can be challenged and no inaccuracies cause mistakes in the league tables.
The only reason the tables have anomolies are due to human error. Once certain people pull their fingers out the system will be flawless.

Its funny that this topic was raised by TCC - we played their first team first game of the season and didn't get given the bowling points we accrued, I think we need to sort our own houses out before criticising others... I personally feel the new system and the inability to edit the result once submitted is farcical.

CP - you are backing my point! It wasn't the fact that our points were wrong that I raised it (my first query to the league wasn't about our points) - My post was asking other club reps to see if they had issues.
Also we tried to amend the result from game 1 - but had to send it off via e-mail (changes still pending I think)
Not that your 2 points will mount to much! 
Yorker - good shout on the cabbage! I think it was one were he was too quick to post and didn't think it through!!

My initial post highlighted the issues with the points - they are all slowly being sorted across all leagues - and I am sure it will get better. END OF!

Parks.. if you left results editable then every result would constantly need to be checked in retro... so it's hardly farcical.
The point TBC makes is fair and I have pointed out where the problem lies.
there is an email address on the site if you feel the need to raise any issues to the commitee.
