I don't think the mast attached to the Nautical College is a mobile phone mast! 
Anyway, back to the rain rules, unfortunately, my proposed rule change was kicked out last night. D/L was dismissed as too complicated and they didn't see fit to discuss any other alternative.
The joker from norcross, who obviously lives and exists purely for these meetings so he can make "witty" remarks to every motion shouted "don't they know how hard D/L is?". I tried replying "not as hard as knocking 250 off from just 25 overs" but it fell on deaf ears.
So much for progress!
