Metric Motor Clinic closed ?

Hey all,

I went by Metric Motor Clinic the other day and its closed !! My dad and I have been using them for a year or two now and this is a big shock.

Does anyone know:

1. Are they re-opening elsewhere ?
2. What happened to the mechanics that worked there ? where did they go ?
3. Any suggestions on good VW Mechanic ? These are for 89 and 96 Jettas.

Yes, VW shop closings seem to be "going around."
One of their mechanics is sort of on his own, Gary Bowers. He has an excellent reputation and use to own his own shop. Contact info is:
