question...
hey...I have a question for you guys, I just bought a bug and it seems to run really well and be in pretty good shape...the engine looks amazingly clean but i was wondering who you guys would reccomend if I just wanted to take it to a mechanic to have him look over everything and check it out for me...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Most lawn Mower mechanics can relate to it - but avoid shade-tree BUBBA's!!!
You need an import specialist. The best way to go is learn it all yourself.
Doing 99% of your own maintenance is the only way it will run right.
Buy a manual for the car, and get in there - I bet it all becomes simple simon after a while.
BUT GET THE BOOK!
I disbelieve in the paradigm that Ladies are not good mechanics. No matter who you are, if you care about a thing you WILL do the job right.
