Any air cooled VW machinists or shops around Memphis?
I am now the proud owner of a '72 Super Beetle, with it's original 1600 dual-port engine.
I was told it had new bearings, but figure the odds on that... The case doesn't look like it was split any time in the last twenty years.
Strange, the last time I was looking at a vw engine (on top of a 55 gallon drum with holes drilled for oil to drain just like now) I was doing these for a living in San Diego!
