ABC

Hi Folks,
You may know, or may not know. There is a kids toy called stretchy string. It is made from some kind of rubber in bright colours. This string stretches up to 10 feet. I think it's made by a company called Hyper-Flex. They have a web site called www.HyperFlexClub.com. For the English Wolf fans I got it from John Lewis. This string is really cool, I'm going to put it straight in my shows for this weekend with the ABC machine stretchy chewy gum, mmm yum yum.
Let me know what you think.
All the best

Hey Louis,

What I found fun to lead into the ABC Trick is a Bubble Gum Contest. I buy those Bubble Gum Mouth coils from Hocus Pocus and challenge a audience member to a stretching contest. I give them a real piece of gum and they can only strech it about 8". I then Struggle with it as I keep pulling out more and more. VERY FUNNY! Then you can have them place their gum in a foam cup and explain your collection. It really lengthens the trick and makes a show run smoother.

The website is http://www.hocus-pocus.com/ and they are called "Bubble Gum Mouth Coils"

Hi Brad,
Great idea, I don't use mouth coils, however I might look into
it.
Thanks for the tip

Re: ABC

I STRONGLY urge anyone who owns an ABC to USE the Gum Mouthcoils! The second I had seen Arthur Atsma demo this using the gumcoils, I knew it was a must.
I think it is cool to use it about 3/4 the way thru the routine, as you are combobulating the gumwads, reach in, grab one and say "hmmm...this one needs some extra chewing" then pop it in your mouth,(palm the gumwad off as you load the coil) gaggle a bit and begin pulling out the Pink Mouthcoil. Then begin to tangle yourself in the coils around your head, waist, over the shoulders until you are covered!
Then state..."well, that didn't turn out so well"
and continue on with the routine as you are covered in gumstrands. This is an excellent visual which enhances the finale of showing the new gumballs as you are covered in gum in your final hands up thank pose.
Silly...but fun!
Chance

Re: ABC

Well I used the stretchy string over the weekend and it works really well. I have replaced the balloons with the string in the top of the tube and when you pull it out it looks really cool as you can stretch it really far, you just have to make sure you are careful that the tube doesn't move to the side. So you pull the string straight up and then slightly to the sides
