Re: Kablammo final load
I posted this in the other good forum However only Potty the Pirate replied so I am hoping it might get a better response here!I would be interested to hear what others have produced from their Kablammo's. I have had mine since April and to date have only use it once! Now that might seem a lot of money to spend to have only used it once. It's not because it is no good, far from the truth! it's awesome! The first time I used it there was gasps and one child said out loud " What the heck is that" The reason so far only using it once was that I wasn't happy with the final load. It was a big top hat filled with prizes for the children. The colour of the hat wasn't bright enough and the main reason was trying to get the hat to appear in the right place i.e. in the middle of the box. I didn't just want it to appear at the back of the box as that to me wouldn't look right to me. I wanted this to look just right so I knew I had to give it some serious thought. So after some hard thinking, I think I have come up with an idea to make the load look more AMAZING. I thought about cartoons and the props they have in them, like plungers, boxing gloves on an expanding arm of metal which jump right out and hit the cartoon character out into space or wherever! So I have decided to get my hands on a big bed spring and fix this to the base of the Kablammo. This will be positioned at an angle pointing towards the front off the box slightly, behind the trap with a big fake hand which I got from Euro Disney this looks like Mickey Mouse's Hand. So this make a great cartoon hand to go on the other end of the spring, and on the hand will be the new top hat bright colours which was also from Euro Disney. So as the box falls apart the spring will move forward and up pushing the hat into view! So with a little bit of work it should look more impressive as it bobs up and down for all to see. Sorry if I have gone on to long, it's just that I wanted to explain it as clear as I could. I hope you all know what I mean. Well I would like to hear of your ideas and tips. One tip I have used is to put some plastic sticky tap on one of the lugs and wrapped it around so that the trap door doesn't stick when dropping down it helps it slide off better. I hope to hear from you all very soon.

Re: Why didn't I think of that?!!
Hey there, Here is a fix for you. I have a smaller Blammo that I have used on and off for years and what I do as I pull the top off I rotate the lid which gives the whole thing a bit of spin. This will turn the whole unit about 1/2 way around and put the load in a more centered looking spot. I do this very casually and as the item is produced I let it set in for about 3 secounds as I pick it up and place the lid on top. I have never had anyone ever question the load or say anything that would draw attention to where the load was. it does take a bit of playing with. There have also been times when I had to perform over carpet so the spin trick didnt work. I just pulled the top crosswed in front of the box and then picked up the item and placed the lid back on top. I always pull from the left and cross to the right and the reason is when I cross I can put the lid down with my left hand as I pick up with the right. I hope this helps. Brian
